We have identified a checkout issue affecting some of our customers using Safari for PayPal payments. To ensure a smooth transaction, please consider the following solutions:
Clearing Safari Cache and History
Clearing your Safari browser's cache and history might resolve the issue. Here's how:
On iPhone or iPad:
- Open the Settings app.
- Scroll down and tap Safari.
- Scroll down and tap Clear History and Website Data.
- Tap Clear History and Data to confirm.
On Mac:
- Open Safari.
- If you encounter a blank page during PayPal checkout, try a force-reload of the page by holding the Shift key while clicking the Reload icon, or pressing Shift+Command+R. This can reset the cache/cookies/history for PayPal without affecting other sites.
- For general cache clearing, choose Safari > Preferences from the menu bar.
- Click the Advanced tab and ensure Show Develop menu in menu bar is checked.
- Select Develop > Empty Caches.
- To clear history, select History > Clear History, choose the time range, then click Clear History.
If issues persist, we recommend trying an alternative browser such as Chrome or Firefox for the time being.
