AppleCare One Goes Global: Apple's One-Plan Coverage for All Your Devices Reaches the UK, Australia, France, and Germany

Apple has quietly shipped one of its most consumer-friendly ideas in years - and now it is going international. AppleCare One, the single plan that folds all of your Apple devices into one subscription, launches in the United Kingdom, Australia, France, and Germany on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, a year after its U.S. debut. It is not a flashy new gadget. It is something arguably more useful day to day: one plan, one bill, broader coverage, and often a lower price than buying protection device by device.

Here is exactly how AppleCare One works, everything it covers, and the full country-by-country pricing.

AppleCare One at a glance
  • What it is: one subscription covering up to three Apple devices, with the option to add more anytime
  • New markets: UK, Australia, France, and Germany - live August 4, 2026 (already in the U.S. since July 2025)
  • Covers: unlimited accidental-damage repairs, battery service, 24/7 priority support - all the AppleCare+ benefits
  • Upgrade: theft and loss protection now extends to iPad and Apple Watch, not just iPhone
  • Flat pricing regardless of the device mix; you can enroll devices you already own up to four years old
  • Savings: Apple says UK customers can save up to £11.48 a month versus separate plans

1. One Plan, Every Device

The premise is simple enough that it is a wonder it took this long. Most people in the Apple ecosystem own more than one device - an iPhone, maybe an iPad, an Apple Watch, a Mac, a pair of AirPods. Traditionally, protecting each one meant a separate AppleCare+ plan, each with its own price, its own renewal, its own line on the bill.

AppleCare One collapses that into a single subscription. You start with up to three devices on one plan and can add more at any time for a small per-device fee. As Apple's vice president of worldwide product marketing, Bob Borchers, put it at launch: “Built on the trusted foundation of AppleCare+, AppleCare One extends that same reliability and makes it easier than ever to protect the products you love and depend on like iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch, combining simplicity and exceptional value.”

2. What's Covered

Every AppleCare One plan carries the full set of AppleCare+ benefits:

  • Unlimited repairs for accidental damage - the drops, spills, and cracked screens that account for most real-world mishaps
  • Battery service when your battery wears down below Apple's threshold
  • 24/7 priority support from Apple experts, whenever something goes wrong
  • Genuine Apple parts and Apple-certified service, at Apple Stores and authorised service providers
  • Theft and loss protection - and this is the headline upgrade (see below)

3. Now Rolling Out Across Europe and Australia

AppleCare One launched in the United States in July 2025. On August 4, 2026, it arrives in four more countries - the United Kingdom, Australia, France, and Germany - with local pricing. The base plan always covers up to three devices; adding a fourth or more costs a small monthly fee per device.

CountryBase plan (up to 3 devices)Each extra device
United States$19.99 / mo$5.99 / mo
United Kingdom£16.99 / mo£4.99 / mo
AustraliaA$29.99 / moA$8.99 / mo
France€20.99 / mo€5.99 / mo
Germany€20.99 / mo€5.99 / mo

4. Theft and Loss Comes to iPad and Apple Watch

The most meaningful improvement is easy to miss in the pricing tables. Historically, Apple's theft and loss cover was an iPhone-only benefit. With AppleCare One, it extends to iPad and Apple Watch too - so if your iPad is lifted from a cafe table or your Apple Watch vanishes on a trip, you are covered. The protection allows for up to two incidents of theft or loss every 12 months, each subject to a service fee.

Apple is pairing the AppleCare One rollout with a parallel expansion: standalone AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss for iPad and Apple Watch also becomes available in the UK, Australia, France, and Germany on August 4 - so even customers who prefer a single-device plan get the wider safety net.

5. The Part That Makes It a Deal

Two design choices turn AppleCare One from merely tidy into genuinely good value:

  • Flat pricing, any device mix. The plan costs the same whether you cover three iPhones or an iPhone, an iPad, and an Apple Watch. Because higher-value devices normally cost more to insure individually, bundling them under one flat price is where the savings come from - Apple says a UK customer can save up to £11.48 a month versus enrolling each device in its own AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss plan.
  • Bring devices you already own. You are not limited to brand-new purchases. Any eligible device up to four years old and in good condition can be added to a plan (a quick on-device diagnostic may be required first).
Good to know before you enroll
  • Theft and loss claims carry a per-incident service fee and are capped at two incidents per 12 months.
  • Devices you already own must pass a condition check; headphones must be less than one year old to be added.
  • Pricing and exact terms vary by country - the figures above are Apple's stated launch prices for each market.

None of this reinvents the iPhone. But it is exactly the sort of low-friction, everyday upgrade that makes living inside Apple's ecosystem feel effortless: one subscription, one bill, wider coverage, and - for many households with several devices - a smaller monthly total than before.
